I am done
with New Year resolutions that people so religiously start to keep but then it
goes downhill as days go by and one gets distracted by other pressing matters
and you lose track of what your resolutions were and then it is forgotten or
just limps around until it vanishes or pushed to the next year. I am sure there
are many people who keep their resolutions and succeed in keeping up with them
but there are equal numbers of people who lose sight of it or ignore it enough
so that they don’t want to be reminded of it. I used to keep it but it could be
counted on hand and it was not that complicated but then I realized that if you
don’t know if you are going to be alive the next day, how you would be able to
keep up with your resolutions, so I have decided not to keep them anymore.
If you
feel like you have to accomplish something during the year, just do it and keep
it to yourself, do not brag about it or keep on stressing about it that you
have to do it within a year, if it happens, it happens and if not then discard
or modify it so that what can be achievable is what should be done, no pressure
and no race against time. I for one would not recommend keeping New Year
resolutions and if you want to make something happen just do it and not stress
about if it does not happen.
